The guestroom at Woolbrokers Hotel Darling Harbour was cozy and comfortable, with a homely vibe that made me feel instantly at ease. The free WiFi was a huge bonus, allowing me to stay connected with friends and family back home. It made my stay even more enjoyable as I could easily share all my amazing adventures in Sydney!
The only thing that I personally didn't love was that the room had limited views. But hey, it's just my opinion, and I'm sure some guests would still find charm in the surrounding neighborhood.

The convenience of it's location. The fact that it was well organised and everything ran smoothly.
I didn't like the motorway on ramp right next to my window. My stay was very, very noisy with vehicle noise. I had to buy a pair of ear plugs to sleep.

Easy access from Central Railway by Light Rail. Proximity to Darling Harbour and the CBD - easy walking and safe at night. Bus service close-by in Harris St. Restaurants and supermarkets close by ( can purchase travel cards there too.) Adequate breakfast. Seniors discount. Rooms at rear of hotel are quieter. Bathroom facilities servicing rear rooms were very new and clean.
Front rooms tend to be noisy especially in Summer if windows open.

I absolutely loved the convenient location of this hotel. It's just a 2-minute walk to Darling Harbour, which was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The price was also very reasonable considering the prime location. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the area felt safe.
I felt totally at home during my stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

We had a short stay at Wool Brokers for a weekend getaway. The car parking saved us a lot, only $17 for 24 hours compared to $74 across the road. The room was great, with a comfortable bed. Although the furniture was a bit wobbly, everything else was fantastic. The location was perfect, close to Darling Harbour and within walking distance to the main part of the city. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Shared bathrooms were also well-maintained.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

It was excellent value for money considering it's location. Willing to put up with a few inconveniences for the low price.
No aircon!

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was delighted by the cozy and charming decor. The hotel's vintage style and old-world charm added a special touch to my stay. The general areas were well-maintained and inviting, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility features, such as handrails and easy-to-navigate hallways, which made getting around much more enjoyable.
I do wish that the hotel had more staff members who were attentive and understanding towards the needs of senior guests like myself. While the children working there were polite, they could benefit from more training in providing excellent service to older individuals.

We stayed room 23 and it was so noisy eventhough we shut all windows and curtains and reckon many of units might have the same situation and suggest that you better put noisy proof on window somehow. Also please let your future clients know that the shower and toilet facility is located out side of room and all shared together which we didn't know. And at least one public phone facility (coin or card operated) and internet system should be available in the hotel. Hope that this helps. Cheers Soo

I stayed with my wife and we would never recommend this place, is very old and ugly. The rooms are not like the picture, they are really dusty, dark, the heater does not work, the carpets were dirty, we payed for a room with toilet and we got a shared toilet and was old and dirty. The breakfast is not included, so is not a bed and breakfast, and they don't say anything. No WiFi and they have a computer with internet and its $2.5 for 15 mins. Really disappointing. We got a better hotel (international chain) the next day for the same price hundred times better, to blocks from Museum Train Station, in Wentwoth av, just keep looking.

Absolutely loved the location near Darling Harbour, with plenty of dinner options and a supermarket nearby. Pay parking across the road was super convenient, and we even found free street parking on weekends. The colonial building added a charming touch to our stay, and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. They made check-in a breeze, emailed a copy of our receipt when we forgot to grab it, and even provided instructions for accessing our key outside of office hours. Front desk staff were friendly and parking was cheap. a fantastic experience!
